WQI-TG-002 — The WiFi Quality Scoring Architecture
WQI-TG-002 — The WiFi Quality Scoring Architecture defines methodological requirements for the construction, interpretation, validation, communication and governance of WiFi Quality scores. The Architecture establishes the relationship between Assessment Findings and score outputs, including requirements for conceptual coverage, spatial and temporal aggregation, anti-masking, treatment of missing evidence and uncertainty, separation of Assessment Confidence from quality scoring, score comparability, model documentation, calibration, technical review, versioning and implementation conformity. This release is Version 1.0 — Public Technical Review Draft (PTR-1) and is published for public technical review from 4 October 2026 through 3 November 2026 at 23:59 UK time. It is not an approved or final WQI edition and may change as a result of the review. The record includes the WQI-TG-002 PTR-1 Comment Form. Material comments may be submitted to [email protected] using the supplied form or an equivalent structured submission. WQI-TG-002 forms part of the WiFi Quality Institute Body of Knowledge and sits between the WQI assessment methodology and implementation-specific Scoring Profiles. It does not prescribe a single proprietary scoring algorithm, fixed commercial threshold set, certification class or mandatory numerical scale.
