How Much Does a Day at a Disney Water Park Cost? Blizzard Beach Ticket Prices 2013–2026, Real Prices, Add-On Costs, Attendance and Admissions Revenue from Archived Price Pages, TEA/AECOM Reports and SEC Filings
The price of a theme or water park ticket is widely discussed but rarely documented as a time series. We reconstruct the official price of the Walt Disney World 1-Day Water Park Ticket, valid at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, from 105 archived copies of the ticket page captured between 2014 and 2026, and set it against consumer prices, attendance estimates, company filings and employment statistics. The adult ticket rose from USD 53 in 2013 to USD 74 in 2026 (+39.6%) in six steps, the last on 11 October 2023 after a 55-month pause; the child ticket rose 51.1%, from USD 45 to USD 68. Restated in 2025 dollars with the CPI-U, the adult ticket was worth USD 73.25 in 2013, peaked at USD 86.89 in 2019 and cost USD 74.00 in 2025, 1.0% above 2013; the CPI for admissions rose 43.6% over 2013–2025. A family of two adults and two children pays USD 302.46 in tickets including 6.5% tax, and shade rentals cost USD 49 to USD 525 a day. Blizzard Beach drew an estimated 1.88 to 2.11 million visitors a year from 2006 to 2019, and Disney's two water parks took 25.8% of visits to North America's 20 busiest water parks in 2019. Disney's worldwide theme park admissions revenue rose from USD 2,771 million in fiscal 2005 to USD 11,707 million in fiscal 2025. Florida held 39.3% of US amusement and theme park jobs in 2024. All figures are descriptive.
