Spinal Cord Compression Syndrome Revealing Thoracic Ewing Sarcoma in a Young Adult: A Case Report
Ewing sarcoma is a primary malignant bone tumor that predominantly affects children and adolescents. It most commonly arises in the pelvis, chest wall, and long bones of the extremities. However, involvement of the thoracic spine is exceptionally rare.We report the case of a 20-year-old patient who presented with thoracic spinal cord compression syndrome as the initial manifestation of thoracic Ewing sarcoma, with nonspecific radiological findings. The diagnosis was confirmed by histopathological examination of the surgical resection specimen.
