The Awe & Vigilance within Reverence: An Independent Chapter of Jing-Rong Philosophical Reflections
Jing-Rong Philosophical Reflections (JRPR) comprises a series of independent articles, dedicated to revealing original philosophical concepts and rules grounded in Reverence (Jìng) and Vital Harmony (Róng). Taking the author’s original definition of Reverence as the basis, this article explores the core propositions of the original philosophical framework, including With Jing Comes Condensation; Without Jing, Dispersion Ensues (Law of Forming 1), Innate Self-Interest Instinct, the distinction of good and evil by Domain (Yù), among others. Centering on the Modalities of Reverence, the Seven Reverences as the Foundation, the Six Methods of the Reverent Mind, Reverence for Liáng Sī (Virtuous Self-Interest), and other dimensions, it conducts an in-depth exposition of the Awe & Vigilance and Might within Reverence. It aims to present philosophical insights into the operating laws of all things, with no preset research background or problem-solving objectives, serving solely as an exposition of inherent rules. By integrating traditional Chinese metaphysical thought with original theoretical construction, this article provides a perspective for cross-cultural academic dialogue on Reverence.
