Analytical Synthesis and Closed-Form MZI Mapping of FIR Filters for Chromatic-Dispersion Compensation

This dataset contains the simulation data, filter coefficients, and figures supporting the manuscript "Analytical Synthesis and Closed-Form MZI Mapping of FIR Filters for Chromatic-Dispersion Compensation," submitted to the IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technology (2026). The dataset is organized into the following folders: 1_Paper_Figures/ — Vector figures used in the manuscript, including the MZI-FIR and SC-FIR circuit topologies and the bit-rate-versus-tap-delay results. 2_Paper_Results/ — Numerical results (CSV/TXT) of the recovered bit rate as a function of tap delay and transmission distance, for both the MZI-FIR and SC-FIR architectures. 3_Coefficients_100km_5Taps/ — Synthesized FIR filter coefficients (attenuation and phase, per tap) for 100~km of chromatic-dispersion compensation with a 5-tap filter. 4_Interconnect_100km_5Taps/ — Interconnect simulation FIR (only) projects for 100~km, 5 taps, 15~Gb/s. This dataset is released to support the reproducibility of the results reported in the associated publication.
