Adult games platform policy tracker, 1994 to 2026

A dataset of 45 dated, sourced events that changed what adult games can be sold, how they can be paid for and who can see them, from September 1994 to September 2026. It covers store rules (Steam, itch.io, DLsite), membership platforms (Patreon, SubscribeStar), card networks and payment processors, age verification requirements, court rulings and ratings decisions. Each row gives a date and its precision, the actor, the type of event, the region, a one-sentence summary and one source. The method, the field definitions and the limits are in the README.
