Predictive Value of Follow‐Up CT in Conservatively Managed Traumatic Brain Injury
Progression of intracranial hematoma on routine follow-up CT in conservative managed traumatic brain injury patients rarely leads to operative intervention. Initial Marshall score is. more predictive than progression of intracranial hematoma on routine follow-up CT for the need of surgical intervention (AUC 0.88 vs. 057, p=0.016).
