PUH Theorem 383 — PUH's Gravity Under T317's Lorentz Symmetry: Its Carrier Obeys It, but a Metric Built From One Scalar Is General Relativity Without Frame Dragging, So PUH Needs a Spin-2 Field
Photonic Universe Hypothesis (PUH) — Theorem paper. THE QUESTION. T382 left one route to frame dragging needing no new ingredient: in general relativity a moving mass's field, seen in motion, acquires the part that turns gyroscopes. Whether PUH gets the same depends on what its gravity is. The archive builds its metric from one scalar, the tension (T299: g00 = -lambda0/lambda, g_rr = lambda/lambda0; T335), and under T317's reading every PUH field is carried unchanged by a boost of space and time. RESULT 383.1 — AT REST. The archive's metric is exactly Schwarzschild; to first post-Newtonian order it is g00 = -exp(-2U), gij = exp(2U) delta_ij, with gamma = beta = 1. RESULT 383.2 — IN MOTION, TWO WAYS. The carrier obeys T317's symmetry (a moving source's scalar is its static scalar seen in motion), but a metric built from it in the lattice's frame carries no g0i, while the same static metric boosted as a tensor carries g0i = -4 gamma^2 beta U. Everything else agrees. A scalar cannot carry its source's velocity. RESULT 383.3 — GENERAL RELATIVITY WITHOUT GRAVITOMAGNETISM. The scalar-built metric's two-body dynamics are Einstein-Infeld-Hoffmann's minus the velocity-velocity term -4 G m1 m2 (v1.v2)/(c^2 r). It passes every static test (light at the Sun's limb 1.7512", Mercury 42.98"/century, Gravity Probe B geodetic 6,604 mas/yr against 6,601.8 +- 18.3) and fails every test of motion: Gravity Probe B frame dragging zero (measured 37.2 +- 7.2 mas/yr: 5.2 sigma) and the double pulsar advancing 5.65 deg/yr against 16.90. Excluded. RESULT 383.4 — A TENSOR DRAGS FOR FREE. If the metric is itself a tensor whose rest form is the archive's, a spinning body drags gyroscopes exactly as Lense-Thirring (quadrature, seven digits), reversing with the spin, with no new coupling; the double pulsar's full advance follows; T302's twist becomes the moving face of the same field. RESULT 383.5 — NO SUCH TENSOR IN THE ARCHIVE. T167's pullback metric vanishes on the archive's uniform vacuum and falls as 1/r^4 around a core; T292's gravitational wave is a scalar; the field's 1/r tail is 248 scalars; the lattice's flow around a moving core (T316) is a curl-free 1/r^3 dipole. This is why T379-T382 found no frame dragging. PUH needs a spin-2 field sourced by energy and momentum, with T299's metric as its rest form; the lattice's own geometry (T193's strain) is the first place to look. KILL-CONDITIONS: a field in the archive with spacetime indices and a 1/r tail; a metric defined in each source's frame and transformed as a tensor (which is Result 383.4's tensor metric); a carrier not obeying the lattice's wave equation. NOT CLAIMED: that PUH's static predictions fail; that the archive wrote the metric of a moving mass; which field carries the static 1/r tail; that no spin-2 field can be built from the lattice; preferred-frame effects and radiation (not computed). OPEN: a spin-2 field in the lattice; the carrier of the static tail; gravitational waves and orbital decay in the surviving reading.
