Magnetically supported Cobalt (II) Schiff base complex as a recoverable catalyst for the synthesis of Betti base compounds

Abstract Cobalt (II) Schiff base complex supported on cobalt ferrite magnetite nanoparticles was used as a heterogeneous and reusable catalyst for the preparation of 1 Betti base compounds by the reaction of 2-naphthol with different aldehydes and morpholine. Cobalt (II) complex by the rearrangement from tetrahedral to square planar structure, and then increasing the coordination number of cobalt can be accelerated and catalyze the synthesis of Betti base compounds.
