Charge Summing Mode - Application Note
Abstract: Charge Summing Mode (CSM) is a feature available for High-Z LAMBDA detectors. It is designed to compensate for charge spreading across multiple pixels when a photon is absorbed near a pixel corner. This phenomenon, known as charge sharing, can lead to photon miscounting and a reduction in the spatial resolution of the detector. When Charge Summing Mode is applied, these effects are corrected directly at the hardware level. In this application note, we provide an overview of how this feature works, present some ap-plication examples, and explain how to use it when operating your LAMBDA detector.
