Особливості зміцнення карбонітрацією інструментальних штампових сталей для виготовлення трубного інструменту
This study presents CFD modeling of fluid flow in a cooler intended for sampling from an airlift fermenter. The investigation concentrates on the hydraulic and thermal behavior of a tube-in-tube cooler. Boundary conditions and fluid properties were defined from experimental measurements supplied by the client together with the available cooling-water conditions. The objective is to develop a comprehensive picture of cooler performance for the proposed geometry, which was established from balance calculations and the client's requirements. The CFD analysis considers different cooling-water inlet arrangements and examines the effect of obstacles (swirl generators) installed in the annular cooling-water region to enhance heat transfer during cooling of the sampled medium. Because the cooling medium moves at a very low velocity, particular attention is given to disturbing the laminar boundary layer in the heat-transfer zone.
