Оптимізація виробництва зварювального порошкового дроту високоентропійної композиції
Metal cored wire with a sheath opens a practical way to obtain high-entropy alloys (HEAs) in arc additive manufacturing. At the same time, the choice of the final wire diameter is mostly based on empirical rules: a decrease in diameter contributes to the densification of the powder core and stabilization of the composition, but can cause crumpling of the sheath, surface microcracks or through-hole fracture, which worsens the wire feed and the stability of the deposition process. In the work, an evaluation system based on the filling factor Kz and elongation ∆L is proposed for multi-pass drawing of HEAs powder wire. Comparison of macrogeometry, surface micromorphology and statistical indicators for the same wire at different final diameters shows that Kz changes non-monotonically with decreasing diameter, while ∆L first increases and then decreases and exhibits fracture under excessive drawing, which indicates the transition of the sheath to unstable deformation. Based on the experiments conducted, the optimal diameter of the flux-cored wire was established for such a Kz
