Novel Extensions of Ostrowski–Grüss Type Inequalities Using Katugampola Fractional Integrals

This study explores Ostrowski and Ostrowski–Grüss type inequalities within the framework of Katugampola fractional integrals, aiming to establish novel and more generalized formulations. Motivated by the increasing importance of fractional calculus in modeling complex phenomena across applied mathematics, physics, and engineering, we derive new inequalities that extend and refine existing results. By selecting appropriate parameter values, we demonstrate that our findings reduce to classical inequalities previously reported in the literature.

Abstract

This study explores Ostrowski and Ostrowski–Grüss type inequalities within the framework of Katugampola fractional integrals, aiming to establish novel and more generalized formulations. Motivated by the increasing importance of fractional calculus in modeling complex phenomena across applied mathematics, physics, and engineering, we derive new inequalities that extend and refine existing results. By selecting appropriate parameter values, we demonstrate that our findings reduce to classical inequalities previously reported in the literature.
