Mathematical Model for Estimating Favorable Outcomes in Sports Matches Using a Statistical Model of Coexisting Micro-States

The central idea of this work is based on the assumption that the outcome of a sports match can be interpreted as a macroscopic manifestation of a set of micro-states, each characterized by its own response. Collectively, these micro-states represent the overall behavior of an athlete or sports team during a match. This concept is analogous to the macroscopic behavior of thermodynamic systems, which emerges from the collective behavior of their underlying micro-states, as described in statistical mechanics.

Abstract

The central idea of this work is based on the assumption that the outcome of a sports match can be interpreted as a macroscopic manifestation of a set of micro-states, each characterized by its own response. Collectively, these micro-states represent the overall behavior of an athlete or sports team during a match. This concept is analogous to the macroscopic behavior of thermodynamic systems, which emerges from the collective behavior of their underlying micro-states, as described in statistical mechanics.
