Structural Change - Methodology and EUniverse Mindset
This methodology, developed within the EUniverse project, provides higher education institutions (HEIs) with a structured framework for embedding internationalisation and EU values into institutional governance, practices, and culture. Based on research, institutional surveys, case studies and stakeholder contributions, it introduces the “EUniversal mindset”, a values-driven approach centred on inclusion, diversity, intercultural understanding and participation. The methodology outlines seven key elements for supporting sustainable institutional change, from diagnostic analysis and leadership commitment to stakeholder engagement, skills development, ambassador networks and continuous evaluation. It serves as a practical resource for HEIs seeking to move from fragmented internationalisation initiatives towards a coherent, inclusive and institution-wide approach.
