The Inward Transcision: Post-Biological Informational Optimization, Simulation Limits, and Fermi Compression as a Potential Developmental Pathway
This paper proposes the Inward Transcision, a speculative pathway in which advanced intelligence may shift from biological evolution and outward expansion toward localized computation, internal simulation, and informational optimization. It introduces Stagnation Risk and Fermi Compression as related concepts and develops exploratory mathematical models and testable predictions for distinguishing this pathway from competing explanations of the Fermi Paradox. The framework is explicitly speculative and is intended to support further modeling, observation, and discussion.
