Do Parents Really Matter? Second-Generation Korean Americans Reflect on Parental Influence in Faith Development
Given the critical role parents play in children's faith formation, this research aimed to explore the influence of Christian Korean immigrant parents on the faith development of their Second-Generation Korean American (SGKA) children. The study involved 24 participants, all of whom are SGKA actively practicing their Christian faith and raising at least one teenage child. These participants engaged in semistructured, indepth interviews to provide insight into their experiences and perspectives.
