Spatiotomic study of cardiac development and related diseases in Fujian Maternal and Child Health Hospital
Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the most common congenital abnormality in neonates. The study of molecular regulation mechanism of genes related to early heart development using animal models can provide effective clues for diagnosis and treatment of CHD. This project aims to use high-throughput sequencing technology and multi-omics analysis methods to conduct in-depth research on the environmental and genetic factors and developmental mechanisms of the formation of cardiac malformations, integrate single-cell and spatio-temporal data to study the trajectory of cardiac development and malformation, and explore the key regulatory factors in the development and pathological process as well as the spatio-temporal expression characteristics of these regulatory factors. Identify key factors involved in cardiac development and regeneration.
