The Impact of Lean System Implementation on Organizational Sustainability: An Applied Study on the King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area

Nowadays, manufacturing organizations are under growing pressure from government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and consumers to become more sustainable. Although lean practices can bring environmental, social, and economic benefits, their effect on the long-term sustainable performance is not exactly clear. This paper attempts to clarify the impact of lean system (LP) implementation on organizational sustainability (OS), Data were gathered through a survey of 160 employees in manufacturing firms in Jordan and were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), the results indicate that remove waste, total productive maintenance, quick set up have a significant effect on organizational sustainability, these results have important implications for enhancing the sustainability of manufacturing firms through lean system practices. The study aims to improve the setup time, as well as environmental and social sustainability.
