Topological Blow-Up as a Source of Exotic Matter A 12-Level Matrix Formalism for Wormhole Metrics in Semiclassical Gravity
This preprint presents a theoretical framework entitled “Topological Blow-Up as a Source of Exotic Matter: A 12-Level Matrix Formalism for Wormhole Metrics in Semiclassical Gravity.” The work develops a 12-level mathematical formalism that connects a topological quantity, matrix representations, fluid and dynamical descriptions, quantum-field-theoretical extensions, and semiclassical gravitational equations into a unified model. The proposed framework is intended to investigate how an effective exotic stress-energy component may arise from a topological blow-up structure and how such a source could be incorporated into wormhole geometries. The first eight levels construct the classical and matrix sectors of the formalism, including the definition of the topological quantity, nonlinear dynamical relations, an effective exotic energy density, the Einstein equations with an additional source, the Beale–Kato–Majda-type vorticity condition, and the associated spectral problem. Levels 9–12 extend the construction toward quantum field theory and semiclassical gravity. The extension incorporates a scalar field with a symmetry-breaking potential, an effective one-loop potential, renormalization-group equations, gauge-field and high-energy degrees of freedom, quantum vacuum contributions, and the renormalized expectation value of the stress-energy tensor. The final level introduces a compact matrix representation of the coupled system and a spectral self-consistency condition. Particular attention is given to the geometric sector of traversable wormholes, including the Morris–Thorne metric, throat and flare-out conditions, energy conditions, quantum-energy constraints, and the semiclassical Einstein equation. The paper also discusses the interpretation of the matrix factors and the conditions required for the proposed construction to define a physically admissible branch. The framework is presented as a theoretical and model-dependent construction. Connections between the topological quantity, the vorticity criterion, the effective exotic source, and the semiclassical gravitational sector are formulated as assumptions and closure conditions of the proposed model rather than as established consequences of standard general relativity or quantum field theory. The preprint concludes with a discussion of stability, quantum-field closure, dimensional consistency, possible numerical and computational tests, and a proposed experimental and observational research program for future investigation.
