A rare combination of truncus arteriosus and tricuspid atresia in a preterm infant

The coexistence of truncus arteriosus and tricuspid atresia is exceptionally rare. We report a preterm infant with truncus arteriosus, tricuspid atresia, and a hypoplastic right ventricle. Despite planned staged palliation, the infant died from complications of prematurity and sepsis. To our knowledge, this is the lowest birth weight infant reported with this combination.
