The wound edge exists in the photograph: rule-based, auditable measurement against a physical standard in a porcine model (with full Portuguese manuscript, code, data and audit trail)
▶ RUN IT YOURSELF / RODE VOCÊ MESMO — live demo in your browser / demonstração ao vivo no navegador (PT/EN): https://fabiohumaniza-cyber.github.io/deolhonapele/ Manuscript (Portuguese, with English title, abstract and Box 1), frozen rule-based engine (SOLIZ v0), output data, supplements S1–S9, public demo (JavaScript port validated digit-for-digit against the frozen engine) and complete audit trail — pre-registrations, hashes and a dated error log ("the error notebook is part of the method"). Headline: on 12 held-out day-3 porcine punch wounds, against blind expert-level tracing, the frozen engine scored paired Dice (means) 0.967 vs 0.926 for a 20-mm circle centered on the tracing (95% CI +0.020 to +0.064; Wilcoxon p = 0.002); a circle that never looks at the photograph nearly ties expert tracing — so we propose every edge-agreement table report this geometric null, paired, same statistic on both sides. Run without being told the diameter, the engine measured 300.3 mm² (day 1, n = 36) against the 314.2 mm² nominal punch. No training; no new animals; public data only (Dryad doi:10.5061/dryad.0rxwdbsbr; Zlobina et al. 2025, Sci Data 12:1635; area curve from Yang et al. 2026, JID Innovations 6(3):100458). A cross-species replication on the same group's public mouse dataset (doi:10.25338/B84W8Q) is pre-registered with hashes anterior to this DOI; no image of that dataset was opened before deposit. Method under patent application BR 10 2026 024571 2 (INPI, 2026-09-29) and software registration BR 51 2026 008413-0; see LICENSE.txt (texts/data CC BY 4.0; code source-available, research-free, commercial use licensed).
