Recursive Substrate Co-Design: A Research Proposal for Successive Machine-Designed Computational Substrates
Recursive Substrate Co-Design (RSCD) is a conceptual research proposal for a generational loop in which machine-designed computational substrates become native training environments for successor systems, which in turn design subsequent substrates. This Version 0.1 record contains the paper, editable source, and publication package, alongside a linked public exploratory prototype. RSCD is not peer-reviewed and has not been experimentally validated. The included Generation Zero code is a toy simulation for exploration; it is not evidence of substrate-native learning, physical hardware performance, or intergenerational improvement.
