Digital Management Practices among School Principals in Amman, Jordan, from the Perspectives of Principals and Teachers

This study aimed to identify the degree to which school principals in Amman, Jordan, practice digital management from the perspectives of principals and teachers. It also examined whether participants’ perceptions differed according to gender, job title, and school type. The study employed a descriptive survey design. The sample consisted of 450 principals and teachers, selected using stratified random sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The results showed that the degree of digital management practice among school principals was high across the overall scale and its domains. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences in participants’ perceptions attributable to gender or job title. However, statistically significant differences were found according to school type, in favor of private schools. In light of these findings, the study recommended further activation of technological, technical, and digital methods in the educational process, as well as continued training for principals and teachers in the effective use of digital management practices.
