La dramaturgia del paisaje: Una reflexión sobre “The Russian Ending” de Tacita Dean
With the archival turn, the archive became a central concept in research into the processes of memory, but also into art practices, since collecting also involves selecting and creating with archives, whose logic is nourished by a diversity of sources. This article reviews a series of exploratory ideas about the interpretation of, and approach to, the language of the work The Russian Ending (2001) by the artist Tacita Dean —a work of archival art— which is open to ambiguity, to a diversity of perspectives and to the varied approaches of the viewer.
