Some Qualitative Uncertainty Principles for the Fractional Hankel Transform

The purpose of this paper is to develop some generalized qualitative uncertainty principles (UP) for the fractional Hankel transform. We establish two theorems, which are Miyachi’s UP and Morgan’s UP. Some variations on these theorems are provided. These uncertainty principles seek to demonstrate that two fractional Hankel transforms with distinct indices cannot be both simultaneously very small.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to develop some generalized qualitative uncertainty principles (UP) for the fractional Hankel transform. We establish two theorems, which are Miyachi’s UP and Morgan’s UP. Some variations on these theorems are provided. These uncertainty principles seek to demonstrate that two fractional Hankel transforms with distinct indices cannot be both simultaneously very small.
