Hepatitis B Vaccination for Liver Transplant Recipients in the United States: A National Cohort Study.

Based on the United Network for Organ Sharing database (9/1/2022-6/30/2024), only 59.9% liver transplant recipients were vaccinated against hepatitis B virus. The vaccination rate varied widely by region and other clinicodemographic factors. Multilevel interventions and the utilization of a more immunogenic vaccine may improve vaccination rates in this population.
