AI4Deliberation_D5.2 - Pilots plan, operation and evaluation – second sprint
The present deliverable D5.2: Pilots plan, operation and evaluation – second sprint constitutes the second reporting iteration of Work Package 5 (WP5). It documents the outcomes of the "Second Sprint" (M16–M21), themed around the principle of "Start Small", and contributes directly to the fulfilment of the primary objectives of WP5: O5.1: To construct a model for evaluating acceptance and trust, specifically for AI deliberations, and devise a method to evaluate usability. O5.2: To develop a concrete evaluation plan for each pilot site. O5.3: To pilot results in real-life scenarios (focusing in this sprint on small-scale, citizen-facing pilots). The aim of the deliverable is to (a) update the operational plans, deliberation themes, platform setups and ethics clearances across the four pilot sites, (b) update the evaluation methodology, and (c) execute small-scale pilot operations with pilot administrators, facilitators and a small number of citizens, and report the evaluation results of the second sprint. The evaluation covers the process guidelines (WP2), the institutional framework (WP3), the AI toolkit (WP4) and the citizen Acceptance and Trust Model (WP5). These findings set the operational and methodological baseline for the large-scale third sprint.
