Peri‐Implant Radiographic Measurements Compared With Intra‐Surgical Assessments: Diagnostic Accuracy and Reproducibility
Not all peri-implant radiographic measurements. Across eight calibrated examiners, emergence angle and defect width were highly reproducible, but defect height, defect angle, and distal bone levels varied widely and underestimated the true defect size measured intrasurgically. Calibration and multi-examiner averaging matter.
