Architecture of a Lifework: From Learning by Teaching to Human-AI Cognition
This article reconstructs the development of Jean-Pol Martin’s work from late-1960s concerns withparticipation to Learning by Teaching (LdL), anthropological needs, networked knowledgeconstruction, the New Human Rights (NHR), organismic integration, and human–AI cognition. Itssource is Architektur eines Lebenswerks: Buchmanuskript 06, which includes the documentedResearch Basis 06. The reconstruction separates contemporaneous evidence from laterinterpretations and retrospective recollection. A classroom episode in which a student instructoraccepts correction illustrates the early problem: participation requires designed roles and effectivefeedback. The argument then follows changes of scale and meaning from learner to network toinstitution and AI-supported inquiry. Within Martin’s Zenodo corpus, which already contains thematicsyntheses and shorter developmental accounts, the added contribution is an integrated, datedgenealogy with explicit evidential thresholds. It provides a reference for future research withouttreating analogy, institutional aspiration, or AI-generated synthesis as proof of impact.
