Coelossia trituberculata Simon, 1903 (Araneae: Araneidae) an immature male from South Africa

Simon (1895) described the genus Coelossia from Sierra Leone, with Coelossia aciculata as the type species. A second speciesC. trituberculata Simon, 1903 was described from Mauritius, but the types of both species are apparently immature. An immature male was reported from South Africa on the inaturalist platform that closely resembles C. trituberculata. It is hoped that the images provided here will enable the discovery of live specimens
