THE LIMINAL FIELD: The Future as Past
Short Description A reflection on contemporaneity and the structure of interiority, proposing that the future is a past compressed within the Self. The text explores the simultaneous configuration of I, presence and Self as a single depth expressing multiple states of being. Abstract This text presents a speculative model in which the future is understood as a past condensed within interiority. Reality unfolds from compression, and what appears as “future” is simply what has not yet been conceived as contemporaneity. The I, presence and Self are described as three configurations of the same underlying depth, each expressing a distinct state of being while remaining unified. The text argues that linear logic obscures the simultaneity of these states, whereas a conception oriented toward depth reveals their natural coexistence. Resonance with the Self becomes possible when presence becomes neutral, allowing access to a deeper configuration in which the Self holds the totality of compressed reality. The Self is presented as the reference point capable of resonating with the source, where all reality remains compressed. OpenAIRE Description This work explores an ontological model in which the future is conceived as a past compressed within interiority. Assuming the unfolding of compressed reality as the fundamental condition, the text proposes that future, present and past are differentiated only by the degree of conception available to the subject. The I, presence and Self are framed as three distinct configurations of the same depth, expressing simultaneous states of being that appear separate only within linear logic. The model emphasises the role of contemporaneity as an unconceived dimension that becomes accessible when presence shifts toward neutrality, enabling resonance with the Self. The Self is described as the structural reference that contains the totality of compressed reality and can resonate with the source, where all layers of reality remain unified. Presented as a speculative and experiential reflection, the text offers an alternative to linear temporal interpretation and situates depth, interiority and resonance within a unified ontological framework.
