RO-TRACE: An Identifiability-First Simulation Model for Reverse-Osmosis Fouling Decisions
This deposit presents the RO-TRACE mathematical model and its Python implementation for exploring whether a bounded hydraulic response could provide useful information about reverse-osmosis membrane fouling beyond conventional indicators. The paper and code use a virtual, fully synthetic scenario. Their purpose is to make the proposed innovation concrete, clarify its assumptions and measurement requirements, and provide a reproducible way to test when the approach may offer an advantage. The reported results are simulation outcomes; they do not establish performance or safety in an operating plant.
