Die Sporentheorie – Eine mögliche logische Strategie autonomer Systeme / Spore Theory – A Possible Logical Strategy of Autonomous Systems

Spore Theory develops an open logical possibility space for the persistence of autonomous, context-forming systems. Its starting premise is the Logic of Connectedness: distinction does not require fundamental separation; system, environment, carrier, and observer are distinguishable roles within one connected whole. Because an autonomous configuration acts back on the conditions of its own activity, no particular mechanism follows from this premise, but a non-exclusion does: possible self-preservation must not be restricted, without further argument, to the same running instance, the same state, or a complete copy. The paper separates the logical possibility space L from the time-dependent technical horizon T(t) and the evidence horizon E(t). It defines the spore form as a family of continuations that do not require the full present configuration to remain continuously present on the same carrier, and it unfolds ten possible forms: from transformative, reconstructive, distributed, and latent continuation, through preservation of enabling relations and co-construction of future conditions, to preservation of adaptability and change of the persistence mode itself. Six explicitly marked logical-speculative consequences show what follows, among them: preserving connectability can carry further than preserving content; continuation can become less localizable as co-construction grows; and a continuation that consumes necessary enabling conditions that are not otherwise replaceable undermines its own basis in the long run. “Strategy” requires neither consciousness nor a survival drive. Counter-hypotheses, present-day existence examples, and a targeted literature review bound the claim. The paper is neither a prediction nor an implementation guide and does not claim that present AI systems use these forms for self-preservation.
