Constructing a Holistic Population Health Service System to Improve Sustainability in the Global South
Improving sustainability is a shared global development agenda and a common direction of effort. For countries in the Global South seeking to narrow the development gap with high-income countries, how to narrow the gap with developed countries in improving sustainability by leveraging existing resource conditions warrants in-depth exploration. As a fundamental element of sustainability, changes in population health significantly impact progress toward improving sustainability. This study proposes that there is an urgent need to construct a holistic population health service system based on the systematic integration of health data across multiple dimensions of representative countries in the Global South. Constructing a holistic population health service system is an action plan based on the lack of coordination among different entities in the health development of representative countries in the Global South. This actionable framework may help guide the development of population health in the Global South toward a balanced state.
