Impact of AI-Enabled Features in Faculty Teaching Effectiveness in Google Classroom
Abstract The Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration into education is transforming traditional teaching and learning practices. Google Classroom, currently with AI-enabled features such as lesson-plan generation, quiz creation, rubric development, differentiated learning resources, and suggested feedback, provides faculty with special power to improve teaching efficiency and classroom management. This study examines the impact of AI-enabled features on faculty teaching effectiveness in Google Classroom. The study mainly focuses on how AI influences lesson planning, preparation time, assessment, feedback, personalization of learning, student engagement, and overall teaching effectiveness. The study can be conducted using a structured questionnaire among faculty members who use Google Classroom. The findings are expected to show that AI can reduce routine workload and support more efficient and personalized teaching. However, factors such as AI literacy, training, accuracy of AI-generated content, privacy concerns, and the need for human supervision may influence its effectiveness. Research on AI in education also emphasizes the importance of teacher professional development and responsible implementation.
