Evaluatiion The Protective and Therapeutic Role of Flavonoid Extract of Salvia hispanica Seeds on Physiological Parameters in male Rats Induced Neuritis By L-Methionine
This study was carried out in the animal house of the College of Veterinary Medicine/Basrah Universit. The flavonoid extract of Salvia hispanica seeds (chia seeds) is bioactive compounds, having a great potential in the foods and pharmacological industrywas prepared. This investigation was done to estimate the chemical compound and anti-inflammatory activity of flavonoid extract of S. hispanica seeds. Materials and Methods. Prepared the flavonoid bioactive and analysed amd diagnosed in vitro for the imdicator bioactive components such as phenolics and flavonoids and application during experement on male rats. The studied physiological parameters such as body weight and body weight gain, complete blood picture and lipid profile and C-Reaction Protein for indicators effective of flavonoid extract as protective and therapeutic of S. hispanica seeds against neuroinflammation in male rats by L-Methionine-induced brain damage in male Wistar rats. Brain injury had been improved confirmed health amelioration, revealing that chia seed extract consumption can lower pathological changes in injured neuron rats. Conclusion. It s be seen that the chia seed extracts alleviated the harmful effect of male rats. These results showed that S. hispanica seeds extract has strong antioxidant activity which provides protection against brain injury that exerted by chia seeds may be attributed to high contents of flavonoid compounds.
