CLINICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC SIGNIFICANCE OF INTERLEUKIN-1β AND PROSTAGLANDIN E2 IN IMPROVING PREGRAVID PREPARATION AFTER TERMINATION OF A NON-DEVELOPING PREGNANCY
Restoration of reproductive health after missed abortion and preparation for subsequent pregnancy represent an important challenge in modern obstetrics and gynecology. Recent studies increasingly emphasize the pivotal role of immune-inflammatory mechanisms in the pathogenesis of this condition. This article provides a theoretical analysis of the mechanisms of action of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and prostaglandin E₂ (PGE₂) in endometrial inflammation, tissue regeneration, and implantation processes following missed abortion. The pathogenic role of IL-1β as a key proinflammatory cytokine, its involvement in NF-κB and cyclooxygenase-2 signaling pathways, and the subsequent activation of PGE₂ synthesis are discussed, highlighting their synergistic interaction. Without reliance on laboratory data, the clinical and diagnostic significance of these mediators is substantiated from a pathogenetic perspective. The findings underline the importance of considering immune-inflammatory pathways when individualizing pregravid preparation, optimizing endometrial receptivity, and improving subsequent pregnancy outcomes.
