Computed tomography findings of laryngeal lymphoma in two cats

Abstract We evaluated the computed tomography features of laryngeal lymphoma in two cats. In Cases 1 and 2, the mass was confined to the laryngeal region at the level of the thyroid cartilage. The masses were relatively well‐defined and round to oval, with no evidence of thyroid cartilage destruction. In Case 1, no abnormalities were observed in the regional lymph nodes, chest or abdomen. The mass was diagnosed as B‐cell lymphoma. In Case 2, bilateral medial retropharyngeal lymph node enlargement with rim‐predominant heterogeneous contrast enhancement was observed. No abnormalities were observed in the chest or abdomen. Clonality was not examined. Both cats were ultimately lost to follow‐up; therefore, the long‐term treatment response and outcomes could not be assessed.
