Assessing the Effectiveness of Industrial Enterprise Innovation Ecosystems Based on Role Model Criteria

This article presents an original methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of innovation ecosystems, based not on traditional cost or patent metrics, but on an analysis of the internal dynamics of interactions between their participants. Evaluation criteria that form a role model are proposed. The approach was tested using various types of innovation ecosystems in the Russian Federation. Fundamental limitations of existing models are identified, the main one being the static nature of participants’ roles, which hinders the dynamic redistribution of resources and risks. The results of the study can be used to diagnose and identify areas for improving mechanisms for innovative development at industrial enterprises.
