Streamlining the Annual Performance Review Process at the organization: A Practical Approach to HR Process Coordination
This research paper examines the role of employee tracking and meeting coordination in improving the efficiency of the Annual Performance Review (APR) process. The study is based on practical observations and experiences gained during an HR internship involving performance review coordination and documentation activities. It explores common challenges such as scheduling delays, incomplete documentation, communication gaps, and limited process visibility that can affect the effectiveness of performance reviews. The paper highlights how structured employee tracking, standardized documentation, timely follow-ups, and effective meeting management contribute to smoother appraisal cycles, improved accountability, and enhanced administrative efficiency. The findings emphasize that performance management should be viewed as a continuous developmental process rather than a once-a-year administrative exercise. The study provides practical recommendations for organizations seeking to strengthen their performance review systems and improve employee development outcomes.
