THEORY OF OBJECTS. ARTICLE 14. 12 META-COMPARTMENT: SKIN SECRETIONS (SWEAT AND SEBACEOUS SECRETIONS). CUTANEOUS SECRETIONS AS A BARRIER META-COMPARTMENT: PP/IT PROFILE AND RESTORATION OF METABOLIC DIVERSITY IN PEOPLE 55+

Skin secretions — sweat and sebaceous secretions — form a complex metabolic environment containing pheromones, antimicrobial peptides, electrolytes, lipids, amino acids, and skin microbiota products. After the age of 55, the metabolomic diversity of skin secretions decreases dramatically: the number of detected metabolites drops from ~3100 to a critical threshold of less than 1000, which is associated with dermatitis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin infections, delayed wound healing, systemic inflammation, and immunodeficiency. However, standard clinical analyses do not assess the metabolomic diversity of the skin. The article shows how the theory of objects can measure metabolic depletion of skin secretions, what diseases are associated with it, and how foods with a high PC/IT profile, including biogenic nutrition, restore metabolomic diversity. The PP/IT profile is a format for representing two independent indices: the density of objects and the toxicity index (IT). The notation 175/3 means 175 beneficial molecular species and 3 harmful species per 100 g of product — this is not a fraction, but two independent numbers side by side, like blood pressure of 120/80. The profile is tied to the vector of product parameters: variety, origin, method of production, condition, freshness, and storage conditions. A monitoring protocol and practical recommendations for people 55+ are proposed.
