PROBLEMS IN THE SYSTEM OF MANDATORY DIGITAL PRODUCT MARKING AND DIRECTIONS FOR THEIR ELIMINATION

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the problems arising in the process of implementing and developing the mandatory digital product marking system in Uzbekistan. The importance of digital marking in ensuring the traceability of goods, restricting the circulation of illegal products, protecting consumer rights, creating a competitive business environment, and improving tax administration is examined. The study identifies technological, organizational, legal, and economic problems, as well as issues related to tax administration that arise in the practical application of the digital marking system. Particular attention is paid to the stability of digital infrastructure, the technical capabilities of business entities, data exchange between system participants, the complexity of marking procedures, the level of users' digital skills, and the costs associated with using the system. Based on the analysis, proposals and recommendations are developed to address the identified problems and improve the efficiency of the mandatory digital product marking system.
