Simultaneous Determination of 20 Sulfonamide Residues in Pork by Filter-Based Solid-Phase Extraction Cleanup and UHPLC–MS/MS
To enable rapid and accurate determination of sulfonamide residues in animal-derived foods, a method was developed for the simultaneous analysis of 20 sulfonamides by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS) combined with a FaVEx one-step cleanup column, using pork as a representative matrix. After extraction, samples were rapidly purified with a FaVEx-NM column and analysed in multiple reaction monitoring mode. Matrix-matched calibration was employed to compensate for matrix effects. The method showed good linearity for all analytes within their respective concentration ranges, with correlation coefficients (R2) of 0.9922–0.9998. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.05–0.74 μg/kg and 0.09–1.48 μg/kg, respectively, indicating high sensitivity. At spiking levels of 1, 3, and 5 μg/kg, mean recoveries ranged from 70.95% to 112.20%, with relative standard deviations below 11%, demonstrating satisfactory accuracy and precision. The proposed method is simple, efficient, sensitive, and reproducible, and is suitable for rapid screening and quantitative determination of multiple sulfonamide residues in pork, providing reliable technical support for residue monitoring in animal-derived foods.
