THE SIGNIFICANCE OF LCT GENE C/T-13910 POLIMORPHISM GENOTYPES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF LACTOSE INTOLERANCE SYMPTOMS AND CHANGES IN INTESTINAL MICROFLORА
Materials and Methods. A pathomorphological study was conducted based on venous blood samples taken from 90 pediatric patients, aged under one year and of preschool age, who were diagnosed with lactase enzyme deficiency. The collected blood samples were analyzed using the PCR diagnostic method, and the obtained results were processed using statistical analysis methods.Conclusion. Morphological studies of patients with lactose intolerance allow for the evaluation of the activity of the enzyme produced by small intestinal enterocytes according to different genotypic variants. Additionally, they enable the examination of changes in normal intestinal microflora associated with those genotypic variants
