IMPROVING EFFECTIVE PEDAGOGICAL METHODS FOR ORGANIZING HOMEWORK IN PRIMARY GRADES

This article analyzes the pedagogical content of homework organization in primary grades, the conditions that determine its effectiveness, and practical ways of improving it. Homework is interpreted not merely as a means of repeating previously learned material, but as a didactic tool that develops pupils’ independent learning, time-management, self-monitoring, and responsibility skills. The study examines the potential of differentiated instruction, short and clearly formulated tasks, creative exercises, appropriate cooperation with parents, balanced use of digital resources, and reflective checking techniques. The proposed approaches aim to optimize the volume, complexity, and methods of completing homework while taking into account the age related characteristics of primary school pupils.
