Cell line specific Contactin-2+ extracellular vesicles vs circulating cell-free microRNA: A proof of concept examination of diagnostic accuracy as the standard to evaluate EV/small EV biomarkers
A combination of extracellular vesicle precipitation followed by immunoaffinity based on the target cell/organ enhances biomarker performance (e.g. positive predictive value) compared to the same panel of circulating cell-free micro RNAs in our test condition of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy
