Quality of Transport Service in the System of Interaction Between Industrial and Mainline Railway Transport: Problems of Integration and Contradictions of Economic Models

The article examines the impact of institutional and organizational-economic differences between public and non-public railway transport on the quality of freight transport services. It identifies contradictions between the economic models within which these actors operate and reveals systemic problems that hinder effective integration. The study demonstrates that the quality of transport output is not formed within a single segment of the service chain, but at the interface of two technologically interconnected yet economically divergent systems. A set of measures aimed at improving coordination and alignment mechanisms among participants in the transportation process is proposed.

Abstract

The article examines the impact of institutional and organizational-economic differences between public and non-public railway transport on the quality of freight transport services. It identifies contradictions between the economic models within which these actors operate and reveals systemic problems that hinder effective integration. The study demonstrates that the quality of transport output is not formed within a single segment of the service chain, but at the interface of two technologically interconnected yet economically divergent systems. A set of measures aimed at improving coordination and alignment mechanisms among participants in the transportation process is proposed.
