A Study of " Sustainable Business Practices and Consumer Perception"

Abstract However, the drive for sustainability has grown more critical in the business world as concerns over environmental impact, evolving consumer demands, and international sustainability standards have become a key focus of corporate strategy and decision-making. Today's consumers are more conscious about protecting the environment, ethical production and social responsibility. This research paper discusses the consumers' perception of sustainable business practices. This study examines the relationship between eco-friendly policies, ethical business practices, corporate social responsibility (CSR), green marketing and customer trust, purchasing behavior and brand loyalty. In order to grasp the effect of sustainability on the consumer's decision making process, secondary data has been gathered from journals, reports and previous studies. The results indicate that consumers are generally favor towards companies that engage in sustainable activities but at the same time, influenced by price and convenience. The paper concludes that sustainability is not just about the impact on society and the environment, but also how it improves the company image and long-term profitability.
