Complete genome sequence of Methylorubrum sp. strain 263, a light-driven methylotrophic bacterium

sp. strain 263 is a pink-pigmented facultative methylotrophic bacterium showing light dependence for methylotrophic growth. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of strain 263 consisting of a chromosome (5,298,893 bp) and a circular plasmid (44,302 bp).
